Our thoughts are with our terrestrial farming friends
The staff and members of the TSGA have been shocked by the devastating impact of the extreme weather event that has affected all of Tasmania, especially the North and North West. Our thoughts are with all Tassies terrestrial farmers, and their local communities, during this most testing time. Please be safe!
Update and Important Information Regarding the Floods

Given that parts of the Mersey Yacht Club has broken away, and several vessels have subsequently sunk near the Spirit and Devonport heads, Devonport will remain closed for an unknown period. If vessels require a safe harbour Tasports can facilitate berths at Bell Bay or another location.
There are severe weather warnings in place across the state including major flood warnings for the Forth, Meander, Mersey, North Esk and South Esk Rivers in Tasmania. Warnings are in place for NSW for abnormally high tides and very heavy surf. Locations which may be affected include Newcastle, Gosford, Batemans Bay, Eden, Moruya Heads, Sydney, Wollongong, Port Macquarie, Taree, Old Bar, Forster and Seal Rocks.
We ask that none of our members take unnecessary risks at this time, whilst at work or at home.
In the event that you need to travel please check the Tasmanian Police website prior to doing so for the latest flood warnings, road closures and traffic hazards.
